A collaborative effort between Ugliness Man and Theodore Diesel.
Why this name?
Couldn't think of a name, realized that if we left it blank, some media players would automatically say "Unknown Artist", and that pretty much worked out well. The (CN) is not actually part of the name, it's just there because "Unknown Artist" was already taken on SoundClick.
Do you play live?
No live gigs yet, since so far the only method of making music involves sequencing the song bit by bit on a computer, nothing live or on the fly. But you never know what might happen, right?
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Well, hell, these songs are probably never going to end up on any tangeable release, so if it wasn't for the mp3 community you wouldn't be hearing this stuff.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Are you kidding? If a real label is insane enough to want to release this insanity, deal!
Band History:
Ugliness Man started experimenting with some new software, and his friend Theodore Diesel happened to come over that day. They ended up getting a small quantity of marijuana and smoked it. It was small, but packed a punch. Inspired and a little hungry, they unleashed their insanity with a back-and-forth session of tweaking and arranging, and the song "fisheatdog" was the result.
Your influences?
Rather than trying to gather inspiration from other artists, UA tries to let the software dictate the flow. If you're looking for a genre description, think hip-hop beats with a blender full of electronic genres moulded to fit the tempo. And lots of false endings.
Favorite spot?
Any place with cheap weed.
Equipment used:
So far, the program eJay is the primary tool.
