Well... I am playing all instruments alone in my homestudio...
So I am not "really" a band. But I play all instruments myself...
I like Da kickin'Beatz and also very harmonic and moody music I have no genre restrictions except techno which I personally sense more to be a noise than "real" music. But I know there are many others who like it and so I do not want to compare it smaller to other music.
Why this name?
I lived in New Zealand for more than 3 Years and a lot of inspriration comes from that...
Do you play live?
No, not the music you hear in this place. I do play drums occasionally, but that is another story...
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Yeah.. it should or?
I want the industry to realize, that there is so much good music out there and that they should stop pushing the music market into an economical corner.
My repating experience is, that it is very necessary, that you can choose the music you want to listen to and not be forced to buy complete CDs whn wanting to listen to only two songs on it....
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Of course... who would not..?
But I#d like an independent label like "hte symbol" or another artist, that stopped being too depoendent on the "industry"..
Band History:
I started making music at the age of six and since then, er... yes , ... well... i made music since 37 years now (This will givbe you my age) I cannot read music, have only 9 FIngers due to an accident and play drums, piano an guitar as "live" instruments.
I started recording in 1996 and had my first self burned CD in 1998. I made 5 CDs up to now and the 6th is on the go...
Your influences?
In My youth: Beatles, Abba, Status Quo, Black Ghospel Music, Klaus Doldinger, Deliverance
Today: I like HipHop, R&B and Funk music the most.
Music should be able to move your ass...(and the one of the ladies around ... haha ;-)
Favorite spot?
Wuerzburg in Germany - it is a very cultural small city with 10% of student population. This keeps good music going on in our town...
Besides that...any rural area in New Zealand
Anything else...?
Thanks for listening Folks!
And also Thanks for the opportunity to publish here...
