A Gurl (an ode to the city of Atlanta)
I am a producer, writer turned artist, My first independent release is titled "The Show Must Go On" My label HipPopSoul productions was started about a year ago. I am currently shopping my self as writer and producer looking for a publishing deal or a label deal. I am also looking for other artist signed or unsigned to work with. I call my style HipPopSoul thus the name of the label. I did 80% of the music on "The Show Must Go On" I wrote and arranged and engineered the whole project.

Do you play live?
I live in Atlanta Georgia and I perform at different colleges, and open mics and music conferences that go on in the city.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think with the addition of internet period life has changed for the better. Its like the difference between knowing how to read and not, it takes your life to a whole new dimension.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
yes yes yes but knowing what I know from researching and doing my own thing, I wouldn't do anything out of desperation. I've waited this long so there's no need to settle for just anything, I am a lot smarter about the industry than I would have been if I would have been picked up and signed earlier on in my music career.
Your influences?
I've been influenced heavily by hip hop and pop music I am an 80's baby. When you listen to the CD you'll know what I mean.
Favorite spot?
Atlanta and New York City
Equipment used:
To produce my Album I used Cakewalk software, and A triton korg rack and proteus 2000. But know this I will use whatever I have in front of me to make music.
