We are a 5-piece metal band from bournemouth coming up in the world having played all venues that matter in the area. We combine solo guitar with female backing vocals, a driving bass-line and kick-ass drums. The vocal melodies are a combination of fast, roaring and singing. All in all a diverse wall of sound, breaking through the barriers of simplicity.
Why this name?
Colma is a city in America which is the size of Bournemouth. It is named the "city of the silent" because it is a graveyard in itself. The incarnate bit refers to raising the dead.
Do you play live?
We play live locally, hoping to broaden our horizins as time goes on. It f***ing awesome playing live, we just like having a laugh at the same time as taking it seriously. Every gig is a special moment.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It allows bands to get their music out there rather than having to resort to giving free demos away for people to hear.
We need it now John Peel has died R.I.P.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Of course, but they very rarely come to bournemouth, and the scene isnt very prominent in the area at all.
Band History:
We formed about a year ago in an upstairs bedroom. We all knew each other from 6th form and the school before that. The original line-up had no drums to start with or bass. The rhythm guitarist and the singer were the other way round but the switched around the time the bassist came along. We needed a bassist so a freind took the bass up, and he knew a drummer who we now have as the drummer in the band, and we went from there really.
Your influences?

yeah, we need more metal bands in Bournemouth to influence people to listen to music no crap that the media call music. Theres not enough respect for bands who play live in this area.No-one seems to give a shit, so i just hope that Bournemouth will soon be a place where bands can start and get a good review and feedback, rather than accepting the way things are, they wont change that way. Thankyou.
