Why this name?
This is part of a record company. Its name is obvious (1070). ten seventy is a street in St. Francis South Dakota. Although it aint the most dangerous place to live in the world, it is a symbol. The name has been adopted as a sybol of reservation life. It is not meant to show off or lie about how hard life is but it is a symbol of the newer generation of natives.
Do you play live?
Although no major movements have come about with 1070 most of the artist have performed at ya local neighborhood houseparty. One artist has toured reservations all over the US and played live.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
yeah it has become a vital link of communication.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
No.

www.1070entertainment.com is up and running. The experiance of these artist range from 6 years to 6 months. A wide variety of backgrounds, just like ya favorite variety commod pack of cereal.
Your influences?
There is a wide variety from 3 6 to 2pac and biggie. Some artist have interest in oldies. None are fans of country or 80's.
Favorite spot?
Right Chea in lovely Rosebud.
