Amazingly, B-Tiz did not being rapping until 2004, when legendary Philadelphia hip hop producer J. Dubz convinced him to record his first single. Due to the success of "It's All Iz" B-Tiz stuck with it and finished his first mixtape "Y.O.P. Is For Me". The mixtape went on to be the top selling CD on all of 7th Floor Curtin, and impressed students at Penn State so much that they created a fan club just for Tiz. With hit songs like "The Food Song" and "The CATA Bus Diss" Tiz catapulted onto Penn State's music scene and never looked back. His blend of hardcore rap skills and humor has transformed him from a nerdy college student into one of rap's most powerful forces. Currently, B-Tiz and J. Dubz are at work on their first official album, tentatively titled "P.S. U Crunk?" Look for a late 2005 release.
Do you play live?
You can catch B-Tiz at most of the big parties on campus, or latenight outside of Canyon pizza on weekends. We are working on securing Tiz as an act for this year's Sailor's Ball, where he would perform live in front of thousands of his loyal fans.
