The Tornadoes is a four piece blues band (guitar, harp, bass, drums, vocals) playing classic electric blues, with songs by such artists as Muddy Waters, Willie Dixon, Little Walter, BB King, Little Charlie & the Nightcats, and the Fabulous Thunderbirds.

Band members have been playing together for about five years, although their musical experience goes back much farther. They bring experiences from playing the blues on the West Coast, in the Midwest, and all around.
Why this name?
It fits our energy for playing, and we're not from Iowa State, home of the Cyclones.
Do you play live?
Yes, we play live about twice a month, mainly in the eastern Iowa area.
Equipment used:
We lean toward the vintage gear, tweed amps, that kind of stuff.
