Type 41 is a solo artist producing the music styles of trance and ambient trance, mainly focusing on HARD TRANCE music, I also tend to go off to do other kinds of music, but it is rare that I do. But I do take pride in what I do, I love to create music, it's my passion and thats what fuels my inspiration. I dabble in mixing as well, but my producing is more active than mixing. Enjoy TYPE 41 MUSIC!
Why this name?
To explain the name in the best possible way, I can only say that I wanted something original, and 41 happens to be a very significant number in my life, the word "Type" comes from the type of person I am, someone you don't normally meet on the streets, odd I know, but it's the history behind the name.
Do you play live?
I play live on Internet Radio Stations, and sometimes in clubs local to me.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
No! I think MP3 is the best way to get people out there, it helped me, yes, it does have it's downfalls, like bootleggers who try to steal music and call it their own! But MP3 is one of the best ways to advertise an artist.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, if it would help me get further in my career in music production, then yes I would.
Your influences?
Events in life, friends, sitting in my studio thinking of something to make, most of my influences come from listening to the music around me or simply sitting out in the park and listening to the harmony amongst the creatures combined with the industrial sounds of a city
