hesk - Producing/DJing with Abstract Fusion. Manchester (England) based collective of creative minded people.
Why this name?
Abstract Fusion came about as a way to describe our style. Fusing Abstract ideas.
Do you play live?
Playing live is great but normally only consistes of DJing/Mcing. We are trying to put together a propper live set at the moment.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It allows people to share music easily, which can't be a bad thing
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Maybe if it was about the music and not the image/money
Your influences?
Anything that makes me think there's some hard work and effort gone into it to make it a bit different.
Favorite spot?
MANCHESTER!!!
Equipment used:
MAinly PC based at the moment. And scratching/samples recorded from turntables. Also a few strange things like Speak and Spell!
