Why this name?
If I got a dollar for every time someone spelled my name incorrectly, well, never mind... That's the reason for the name.
Do you play live?
We play live in the Southern California area, at public, private, and corporate venues.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Too soon to tell; maybe it makes it easier to get one's music in front of the public, or (probably more likely) it makes it more difficult to find quality music because there's much more crap to sift through.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Jazz is really not a 'major label' product, per se, but yes.
Your influences?
Straight-ahead jazz, some rock/funk, and blues.
