We are a metal band from Houston, Tx. We mix melodic death, black metal, and hardcore into our own unique sound.
Why this name?
Sanguine means "of blood" and contrary to what most of you are probably thinking, we chose this name, not for the gore aspect, but because "of blood" means brotherhood to us. that's what this band is, a brotherhood.
Do you play live?
yes, we play live as much as we possibly can.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
i think mp3's and the internet in general is a great place for up and coming bands to be discovered.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
a major label would be cool, only that they would take away any kind of artistic freedom that we may have with a smaller label. i'm thinking more along the lines of earache, relapse, century media, labels like that.
