Originally from Basingstoke, at 49 years of age Dennis Crowther followed his heart and gave up his job as Deputy Chief Actuary for the Royal Hampshire Assurance plc. Maintaining himself on the proceeds of a savings account in which he sensibly invested with a half year yield of a quarter of one per cent above base rate, according to the median term, Dennis struck out for Tin Pan Alley. His commitment was evident from the penalty he incurred for early payment under the aforesaid savings policy.

Why this name?
The Lord giveth and the deed poll costeth an arm and a leg.
Do you play live?
see Stop Press above
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Bearing in mind I can now insert myself at the speed of light into anyone, perhaps you should ask the rest of the world!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
What, and get invited to Chequers? Are you joking? (This response may become redundant in the next 3 to 4 years, depending on whether we bomb Iran into Iraq).
Band History:
please see above
Your influences?
Cliff Richard because he is a constant reminder that there is at least one bigger tw*t on the planet than me; and Norton Folgate because it wouldn't be happening were he not there in the first place*
* he's lying...he's always lying

Favorite spot?
Late June to July 1976... a really difficult bugger to shift.
