Khand is a Symphonic/Epic Ambient project inspired by Tolkien's works, born in 2005. Here's the official blogspot pages for Khand:

Why this name?
Khand is a far and mysterious realm in Tolkien's 'Lord of the Rings'. It is situated near Mordor and it's inhabitated by the Variags.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I don't think majors are interested in "tolkien ambient" :)
