The Court Jesters of medival days were known as "Enlightened Fools".
Historically, the court jester was a state-sponsored mischief maker who was not only permitted, but hired to speak his mind--often in jokes, riddles or songs-- when others were forbidden in the presence of power. The jester was the only acceptable form of deviation in the King’s courts, expected to poke fun at all the cultural taboos, to puncture the ruler's ego and publicly break rules, thereby allowing an outlet for otherwise “forbidden” insights, behaviors and feelings. The Enlightened Fool is assigned the number zero - indicating that he is not yet defined - he is the symbol of the potential of all men. He is a symbol of the beginning of the journey, as well as a symbol of the traveler on the journey. However, the Fool is also the symbol of the redeemed initiate, who has returned to society to save others.
Why this name?
The Enlightened Fool, for instance, represents the individual seeker at various stages of growth. The ability to poke fun at the current norms and standards we set for ourselves, or imposed upon us by society, is an important part of growth, for it allows us to "unlearn". Unlearning is as important for growth as learning. Some of our present knowledge, beliefs, and assumptions about how the world is may no longer be serving our highest interest. The jester allows us to hold a mirror to ourselves and examine our own shortcomings. When we can do this with genuine humor and honesty, we can open ourselves to transformation.
Do you play live?
I would play live, and probably will. Where? Anywhere.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet sites such as this one, as well as others like Electromaner.com, MySpace.com, and PureVolume.com, allow unsigned artists to post their music for others to listen to for free. This is a great chance for them to be heard, to get their name out there while not being rich.

As for cd's, I personally think the days of 16$ cd's are coming shortly to an end, especially with mp3 players becoming the new "cd player".
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
made my own
Band History:
Making music since 2000. In the beggining, I focused on the enjoyment of creating. I moved onto focusing on combining sounds to create a whole new sound. Now I have been focusing on using effects and structures. During all of this, my primary concern of music is the feelings it can produce inside the listener.
Your influences?
My primary musical influences are the emotions other artists create, such as Jonathan Davis of the early years of KoRn, with the emotion of his singing, NIN with the harmonies and blending of musical notes, and Aphex Twin for creating things out of the ordinary in beautiful ways.
Favorite spot?
Detroit.
