Arctic Dawn dawn consists of a single member and was begun in early 2005 in Anchorage, Alaska. All the instrumentals are composed using computer software.
Why this name?
"Arctic" came from the base of being from the cold north. I thought about "morning" but that seemed dull. "Dawn" seemed full of life, so the name came to be.
Do you play live?
Alas, I cannot play any instuments in real time. Maybe someday...
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
If it wasn't for the internet, I couldn't collaborate with other musicians. I also couldn't get feedback for my music. It's a wonderfully handy tool.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I don't think so. I want to send a message with my music, and I don't want to have to cater to popular demand.
Your influences?
Everything influences my music. The biggest influences are Tim McGraw, Keane, Keith Urban, Bond, 3 Doors Down, Alan Jackson, Klaus Badelt, and Brad Paisley.
Favorite spot?
Juneau, Alaska (without the tourists :P)

IBM Thinkpad with FL Studio, E-MU XBoard 49 MIDI controller.
