Tall Blue Midget is me Neil Hall, hailing from Swindon, Wiltshire, UK. I consider I am in no way locked in creativity by boundaries. I produce what I like and if others enjoy it then my job is done. Prodominately Electronica in genre with some elements of Drum n bass, techno and hard house. Although I attempt to merge many genres to create what I hope is an eclectic sound.
Why this name?
Tall Blue Midget is obviously an oxymoron, yet I felt this was suitable as it etches itself on your mind and hopefully you won't forget it. In all honesty I think a hefty amount of drugs were also the inspiration!
Do you play live?
As of yet, I am not playing live, simply trying to get people to hear my debut album. But in the not too distant future, keep an eye out!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I'm sure it does to some degree, time will tell!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
A good question, it depends what was offered and if I still had creative freedom.

It's just me Neil Hall, 22. Swindon is my home and music is my love!
Your influences?
All music is welcome for me. But I'm a big fan of: Knifehandchop, The Stone Roses, Hixxy, Adam Freeland, The Freestylers, Prince, Evil Nine, Sade, NWA, Kosheen and Jeff Buckley. Many more as time ticks on more will be added.
Favorite spot?
Georgetown, Washington DC or a tree in Blunsdon.
Equipment used:
At the moment I'm using Fruity Loops, casio keyboard forget the spec, VST plugins, online synths and putting it all together in Cubase.
