The internet, with MP3s and streams, has changed the music industry for the good and bad. Consumers can sample an artist's music, executives can listen and discover new talent worldwide at the click of a mouse. Downloading albums though, can sometimes hurt an artist's album sales.

Regardless of all the illegal downloading, I would still sign a deal with a major label. My hunger and love for music out weighs the negative aspects.
