Just me with my guitar and a very basic recording setup.
Why this name?
A: I was very hungry at the time

B: My band has no members or a name

C: The title of a doodle I sketched in 1985 depicting a bowling ball spiraling from the sky bouncing off a Lincoln Continental

D: All of the above
Do you play live?
Only in my living room, in front of family.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Now non-stars can get their stuff out. No more listening to the same old top 40 or the same old "avant guard" college station crap.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Let's be honest, Hell Yes. But why would anybody breathing offer me one?
Band History:
I wrote my first song at 17. I didn't learn my first chord on guitar until I was 31.
Your influences?
Beatles, Big Country, They Might Be Giants, The Decemberists, Flaming Lips, Tchiakovsky, Lightning Hopkins, Pete Townsend, Marcy Playground, White Stripes
Favorite spot?
Right here at home. No place better.

But Toronto is a nice place to visit.
Equipment used:
Ruben Flores spanish guitar and an Ovation hollow body. Ampeq amp. Digitech rp2000. Abelton live lite software.
Anything else...?
Trying to peg my style or who I sound like. I've been told that my style is somewhat like the Beatles, Buddy Holly, BNL and The Dead Milkmen. I see similarities in Ron Sexsmith, Beck, White Stripes, Jim Croce and Henry Phillips. Mind you, similarity in style doesn't suggest that I have their talent.
