Why this name?
It's original man. It's also means we have a good flow.
Do you play live?
Yes. House parties, clubs, bars, restaraunts, anywhere a couple of 16 year olds can get, and thats usually just parties or all age venues.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It is a very good way for band promotion and getting there name out.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Absolutely.
Band History:
2001: FX 72 rehearses in Andrew's garage.
2002: FX 72 makes some poppy melodic songs which don't mean anything.
2003: They get a drummer, change their name to WiteOut, and start covering bands.
2004: Play their first gig at the RELAY FOR LIFE, a walk for cancer. Didn't turn too many heads.
2005-present: They create Omodium and start writing real songs. Play shows at Club DeNiro, Jarrods Place, came out with a EP, and here we are.
Your influences?
Green River, Mudhoney, Black Flag, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Mother Love Bone, Nirvana, Malfunkshun, Screaming Trees, Skin Yard, the Melvins, Alice in Chains. The basic northwest Seattle scene with a little Zeppelin thrown in.
