Beat Brewers was a name to symbolize where we're from and what we do. 1st off we "brew" beats like coffee, they open ya eyes. But also, the Brewers part come from the fact that we're from Milwaukee, WI.

We d.j. at different events, but as far as performing, no, we're a production team.

The internet allows artists to reach more people that they normally wouldn't be able to. It also gives a chance for critiques, merchandise sales, exposure and advertising of the artists. It brings the playing field a little closer to being level for people outside of your MAJOR music industry cities.

We're basically two cats who came up in music via school bands, d.j.ing, and small music groups. We talked about doing music together for years, but neither of us took it as seriously as we should have, until one day in 2004 when we decided to form a team to become a "superpower" within the music world.

We're influenced by any and every type of music. Anonymus has played in a rock band and M.R. Fingers has d.j.ed for every type of musical event as well as played sax for a jazz group. We've sampled Kenny G. to Patsy Cline to Bach to Michael Jackson. My (Fingers) greatest personal influence is probably Tim "Timbaland" Mosley. I love the way he seems to find notes between the notes or sounds between the sounds.

We basically use Reason 3.0 and a Korg Triton. We also use p.c. computers, Acid 4.0, Sonar, and Logic 5.0
