Why this name?
The term signifies the band's flexibility in music. The group can play something like - from Wolfgang's to Linkin Park.
Do you play live?
The band got a chance to play live in different places these past few months. The last one was at Gweilos in Eastwood City Libis. It was great! The crowd was fun!
Band History:
Sometime in the early 90¡¯s, what began as a laidback session of drinking sprees accompanied with guitar strumming and wailings of such popular hits gave birth to four eclectic individuals¡¯ union. Forming what every boyhood dream is all about ¨C a band.

Jojo, Anthony, Vince and Eric; calling themselves Dead Poets, with influences from such groups as Stone Temple Pilots, Eraserheads, Rivermaya, Razorback and Wolfgang, started performing in such prestigious places like their own bedrooms, friends¡¯ rooftops, garages and the front lawn. Slowly attracting a fan base of friends and relatives that though some expressed doubts, others still urged them on to hone their inert talent of making noise, er music. Thus did they earn spots at playing at different town fiestas, school fairs, debuts and the mother of all gigs¡Club Dredd.

Yet like all tales of epic struggles, the fellowship also had their own share of depressions. For in that fateful summer of May 2004, the band¡¯s bassist, and founding member, Jojo, unexpectedly left the fellowship, when he passed away, of what would be the band¡¯s most trying period. The vacated post is now aptly occupied by the band¡¯s newest member Allan.

Fuelled by the memories he instilled in each of their lives, Dead Poets played on. This time changing their name to SWITCH.

With each member¡¯s kaleidoscope experiences in life, Switch now thrives anew, not with just the desire to be recognized but with the lust of creating their own sound. With Allan tapping out the hollowed hums of the bass, Anthony¡¯s somewhat sonic assault of the rhythm, Vince¡¯s bedight yet moody beatings of percussion and Eric, who takes care of the wailings, Switch sets out to carve their niche in memory and in music.
