I write music that is hybrid between electronic and classical (a bit more classical lately).

Why this name?

I picked this because I thought Gracie was kind of cute and everyone used to call me Grace whenever I would spill something. Now I'm not so sure I like the name anymore. That's me over there... Aren't camera phones fun?

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

I hope that it will allow new talent the opportunity to be heard based on their ability not based on who they know.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Well if I ever get that famous... I'll let you know.

Band History:

I've played the violin since I was 12 but I compose for fun. I have a degree in music ed. I've played in few local orchestras.

Your influences?

Mozart, Bach, Beethoven, Shostakovich, Enya, Billy Joel, Norah Jones, Garth Brooks, Los Lonely Boys. Lots of others....

Favorite spot?

On the sidelines watching my kids participate in something new. Sitting with my best friend solving all the problems in the world. Daydreaming about places yet unseen...

Reason 3.0, Cubase, keyboard, and lots of good inspiration.
