Our namesake chose us
Do you play live?
Our passion is our shows. We will play at your coming out party.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Artists today potentially have unlimited exposure. We feel that this opens the door for more intelligent music.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
We would have to in turn have more freedom than we already have for a contract to be appealing to us.
Band History:
UPRISE started in August 2005. We are currently working on our demo and and promo dvd. The fact that we have have a short history only strengthens the fact that we are history in the making.
Your influences?
UPRISE has roots in hardcore, metal, punk, and blues among others.
Favorite spot?
BLUNTY4HOUR (blunt wraps 24 hrs a day)

More important than anything to us is our relationship with friends and fans. We are aware that our music will not appeal to everyone. Either way...
