Well I guess I've been into musical intruments since I was about 7 yrs old, My foster father had an old benitone thing with peddles nobs and switches. real stone age stuff. but I was hooked straight away. from then on I was paying special attention in my music classes, and often stayed behind after school hours just playing with synths. Then came the new phase of computer music production, My learning curve was on an old amiga 500+. hahaha damn that thing gave me trouble, Now its pc heaven, with some amazing software, Its been great watching the developement of music software and soft synths, I have alot of respect for the guys who sit there and make that stuff. truely talented people.
Why this name?
I used to be a partner in a record label called Turbulent recordings, had alot of fun there, just to damn expensive to keep going unfortunately. so it had to get squashed, Its a big shame but, I have some cool memories from it. So I keep the Turbulent as my name for sentimental reasons I guess :)
Do you play live?
No never played live, I like my time in the studio now as a producer. I Just think you have a longer shelf life if people dont see your face to often.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Wow what a crazy question, Its so obvious how the internet has increased the small time people's chances of the world hearing their personal music, This site for example is a fantastic gateway for me and alot of others like me, I'm so happy about it. there really is alot of hidden talent out there that just wouldn't have had the chance to get heard. so...Thankyou Mr Internet.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Your influences?
Oh god this could go on forever. depeche,mode,foreigner, tony de vit, tidy trax, tangerine dream,Pink floyd, deep dish, no really this could go on forever, I love all genres of music, and i write all kinds of music, I hate being in a catagory.
Favorite spot?
My garden,by my fish pond, with my beautiful girlfriend. soaking up the sun (when its sunny in the UK) hehe. beers,bbq's and music. The simple things in life can be great sometimes :D
Equipment used:
Well I'm always changing but right now I'm settled with just 2 things 1 midi keyboard connected to my computer with alot of powerful software and softsynths, e.g vanguard,battery,jamstix,z3ta+,cubase,sony acid, reason 3, the list is endless.
Anything else...?
Its going to look a little empty on my site for a while, as I've only just discovered this place,(30\08\05) but please keep looking in, It will get filled in time. And please let me know what u think about my stuff, and if u have tracks u think i would like to hear, I love hearing other peoples stuff, I find it inspiring. so....happy producing people.
