We chose our band name solely because it sounds cool... maybe in a few weeks we'll muster up a true meaning...

Not until we get a full band but all of us have played shows and know what its like... aka theres no stage fright up in here.

MP3 changes the music industry becaues now you have less needs for a music store because you can market and sell your music and promote yourself as a band on the internet... This changes the industry such that the need for physically buying or physically owning CD's and songs will slowly decrease. It is a good thing for musicians and the industry because its much easier to enter credit card numbers at your checkout screen on the computer than to drive to a store and pay. In another light it also is a bad thing because there's alot of free music being stolen thats not supposed to be free and that certainly doesn't help the artist or band pay back the record company so they can start recieving royalties for their music.

It depends on the label and what kind of contract their offering.. because major labels often dont have certain genres because the only genre their worried about is money... We're thinking about indie labels because your dealing with less money and less ability to truely screw you over. If offered a contract we would idealy be looking for a 1 to 2 album deal not a 4 to 5 one and most likely that will be with an indie.
