Slitscan started in 2005 as an offshoot of painfetish, my more industrial project. The music is much more upbeat, with lyrics dealing more with relationships and human nature.
Why this name?
Slitscan is a tabloid television company from the book Idoru by William Gibson. with the nature of the lyrics, talking of humans and their relationships, it just seemed to fit.
Do you play live?
no live shows have ever been played as Slitscan.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think mp3s are a great way to get your music more widely known, especially for the underground! I believe people will support the bands that truely deserve it by buying the actual CD when available.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
only if i kept full creative control.
Band History:
Not much history as of yet. Slitscan is currently working on the first full length CD release, The Red Chamber.

Mesh, Beborn Beton, Neuroactive, Neurotic Fish...
