What would you do?
The association Turntableast was created by a group of passionated djs.
We are a crew composed of 9 persons:
- dj's: Dj Nelson, Dj P and Dj Def
- dj/producers: Dj Rectape and T-Killa
- producers: Rima, C-raf1
- organization and webmaster: Perse and Lyrics
We comin' from Strasbourg, France and now what we do is :
- organization, promotion and animation of artistic and musical events
- musical creation (mixtapes, instrumentals...)
- radioshows (91.9 RBS "Streetbeats", "the rezoh")
- DJ battles
- DJ & CAM (computer assisted music) lessons
- design and web developpement (www.turntableast.com)
- production of artists
- & more...

Why this name?
Since our crew is from Strasbourg (the east of France) and since we are into the world of Turntablism, we mixed these two elements together to create Turntableast.
Do you play live?
We do party on our city but we play in Germany, Slovaquia and Moroco to. Different case: Dj battle, party and concert.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
We think that it brings more opportunity for all the peoples that want to put their things out, get contacts and maybe makin deals.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, if an interesting oppurtunity is comin', we are ready to.
