Why this name?
When my mother was pregnant with me the doctor told her I was going to be stillborn. She told him that I was going to live. She was the prophet, and I am the prafacy. (Slightly different spelling)
Do you play live?
I have performed live here in new york (the city and upstate), in chicago, and in pennsylvania. I believe that creating a song and performing it are the two best things about being an artist. I mean you create something and then other people are enjoying your creation. Not to mention the energy from the crowds.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think for artists like me it is great it gives us little guys a chance to be heard on a larger scale and not have the rich guys who pay for radio airplay hog all the listeners stereo time.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Well I am in this to make music, but I need a way to feed myself and my family, and underground music doesn't necessarily pay the bills. So yes I would.
Your influences?
I don't really have too many influences, because I like to think of myself as different from most rappers. I have many different flows and styles. But my favorite rapper is Jay-z, its just what he is able to do with any track that I admire.
Favorite spot?
Home - Hollis, Queens, NY
Anything else...?
Just listen, if you don't like it.... yeah right, just listen.
