hey yall. im via. i play guitar and sing whatever im feelin at the moment. i guess thats how i got into recording my music. i'm really into soulful accoustic songs and i usually write songs about past experiences or things im going through. everything i sing about is real, and has a lot of emotion in it so its 100% authentic.
Why this name?
well my name is via, and i've always had my own individual style of singing thats unique and never an imitation. plus it sounds cool. via styles. yeah.
Do you play live?
i've never played guitar live cause i'm new at this but i do talent shows and sing to recorded songs for crowds a lot. i love live perfomances cause theres so much energy and emotion. its raw talent!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
definitly. the internet gives the underdogs a chance to get discovered.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
definitly. i want to be a true recording artist when im older but for now i love just being able to do my own thing.
Band History:
i'm pretty new at this. im just a girl with a guitar and a raspy kinda off-style voice that loves to sing and write songs. so i just roll with it.
Your influences?
hmm. well i heard the band >after sunday< and i fell in love with the guitar and i decided its what i want to do.
Favorite spot?
spot: my bathroom, it gives mucho inspiration lol plus great accoustics to sing.
