KPM is not really a band it is simlpy the name I use to piont folks to my soundclick website where they can find my works. I am a non performing singer song writer from Perth Western Australia. My works are result of a passionate hobby. I can't help myself I just have to write words & melodies to music.

Why this name?
I don't really have a band name. So I chose my initials to get a page happening. Who knows what might become of that one day ... *smile*
Do you play live?
I have played live once or twice at little folk clubs here in Perth. Hard work when you only have a handful folks to play to but I was happy with the results. Playing live is not my aim though I just like putting it (the songs) all together in the hope that other real entertainers will do them.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Freedom !! Lots of it !! And it's great in my opinion. I don't think we will lose the big folks .. infact I think it makes thier job a little easy in regards to finding new talent.
Your influences?
I grew up on the Beatles. I love artists such as John Lennon, Bread, Lobbo, Bob Dylan, Oasis, Crowded House, Simon & Garfunkel Carpenters ect.
Balads appeal to my senses more than crashing guitars or punk.
