Meet Me at the Pub are a 3 piece from Venice Beach, Southern California. Their genre is unclassifiable and unpredictable. One minute you might be listening to an old traditional ska song and the next will be a 30 second, in your face, thrash song. Formed in the year 2000 by three good friends; Jeremy, Jack & Sully are on a mission to entertain anyone who dares to stand in their way. With thumping Bass lines, Reggae beats & thick melodic vocals and staying true to their So.Cal roots. Known to dive into the drums and smash everything up, at local shows in Santa Monica the band have become legends. "Meet Me at the Pub" has released two rare underground L.P's and with their latest self titled CD which has already sold close to 13,000 copies, this band is destined for good things .

Why this name?
We were in a pub in the UK and that's where the name was born.
Do you play live?
We play all over California, mainly in LA. We have toured the UK.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
MP3's make it easy for anyone to download your music from anywhere in the world.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Maybe.
Your influences?
We are influenced by so many different bands. We dig the whole UK two tone like The Specials, The Selector, The Beat, Bad Manners and Madness. Local reggae bands like Sublime, Half pint have been a huge influence on our music. We also find skate punk bands like Minor Threat, Bad Brains etc soothing to our ears.
Favorite spot?
Venice Beach, LA and Croyde Bay in the UK.
