Christ’s MC (CMC) is a Christian Rap Artist in New Mexico. His debut album entitled “Follow Me”, released in June 2006, showcases his versatile style, with the title song featuring production by well-known Christian music producer Tony Stones. He is currently working on his sophomore album.
Why this name?
The name “Christ’s MC” came from Kevin’s reflection that he is the sole possession of Christ, as are all of God’s children. He often goes by CMC for short.
Do you play live?
CMC has performed and ministered at various musical productions, festivals and events, as well as churches nationwide, in order to reach people and spread the message of the grace and love that can be found in Jesus Christ. He has been blessed with seeing many souls saved at these events.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It helps people get their music out quickly and independently.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Depends on the circumstances.

Colorado Springs, Colorado, and at Flavor Fest 2006 (www.flavoralliance.com) in Tampa, Florida.
CMC is in regular rotation on Holy Culture Radio’s “3rd Coast Fiyah” mixtape show on the internet, (www.holycultureradio.com) hosted by DJ D-Lite, and is a featured artist on his mixtape CD “3rd Coast Fiyah: The Heatwave, Volume 1”, which was released in October of 2006.
