The BulletProof Army, commonly referred to as BP, is a 5 member rap group hailing from Jamaica. With the members coming from different backgrounds, BP is a diverse group that cannot be limited to one style or one sound. They fuse traditional Hip Hop music with lyrics that reflect their personal experiences and the Jamaican lifestyle and reality.
Fresh off the street success of 2005's BP Forever Mixtape, the group has released The Main Ingredient Mixtape. The mixtape is available free of cost in the Music section of this site.
Look out for BP in the near future as they continue to make waves. Listen to the music, spread the word and support the movement.

Why this name?
The name originated in a conversation among members, Shermon, Nomad and Five Star. Not much thought was given to the name but it has stuck nevertheless.
Do you play live?
Though the entire group has never graced a stage together, few of the members have performed together or by themselves at small venues. The group is currently available for any performance and may be contacted via email (bulletproofarmy@hotmail.com)
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet gives young unsigned artists such as ourselves a wider reach and a platform to promote our material.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, if the time, the terms and conditions and the money are right.
Band History:
BP started with high school friends Shermon, Nomad and Five Star. Just months after the group was started, another friend, Sosa, was offered membership. And less than a year later, then BP affiliate, Simo-B, was accepted in the ranks.
