when my mother was pregnant with me she said she woke from a dream and wrote down my name.

my favourite live performance memory is when i was with my band in the uk at our showcase gig for london records manager laurie cokell.
even though it was an intimate venue it felt like we rocked wembley stadium!

the internet has changed the industry and the world in such a major yet simple way...the fact that no matter who you are, you have found your way to reading what i have written here.
the greatest thing we are learning from the internet is the opportunity to share on a global scale, which used to be the privelege of the music industry.

i dont mind about the label, it's the contract that counts.
it's the receipt of a commitment level from both parties and i like that.

-offered contract from german film company to represent as sole composer affiliated to the company
-composed and performed worldwide music campaign for "voltaren"
-composed and performed theme tune for european music campaign for "iams"
-composed and performed theme song for BMW M6 campaign

i grew up with a double thick layer of 80's pop and the late 70's guitar pop. artists such as fleetwood mac, cat stevens, elton john, wham, crowded house and tracy chapman added many colours to the song writing development.
in later years many layers of stevie wonder, randy crawford, otis redding,marvin gaye, earth wind & fire, billy paul and the rest of the delicious ear candy from motown and family brought the soul to the pop.

cape town still has my heart. so much evidence of what an incredible, majestic and breath taking planet we live on.
