SoundClick artist: The Seduction - Very dark, ambient, and industrial... but with some lighter tones as well.

The Seduction is a side-project created by DJ Bean of Electronic Bean. As of now, I am remaining to be a "mystery band" as some might say, and I am keeping all of the materials (except for very few little pieces) from the general public until the release of the album which will be titled "The Vanishing."

Why this name?

As for me, I find the name, THE SEDUCTION, to be a very mysterious and dark, yet very alluring and entrancing name. I originally found it as a title of a song by the band He Is Legend, but then it grew to be so much less of a song title and so much more of a very delicate and enticing word. I personally believe that the bandname has very much strength behind it, and I am hoping that I can bring others to see the darkness that's brooding upon all of the evil things of this world. That's quite carelessly, an explanation of what the band name means.

Do you play live?

No, I don't play live, but I live in Brookfield, IL. It's an oustkirt of Chicago.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

I believe that the internet has very much power when it comes to music, because it reveals so many more opportunities to be heard and acknowledged in this world. There are some good bands that play on the radio, but unfortunately, the market doesn't cater to anything apart from those bands and that makes it extremely difficult to get noticed aside from the internet.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Yes, with hesitation of course.
