In 1995 Yigit (the drummer) and I (Arda-vocals-guitar) got together to search for something important for our lives and also for all the other people.We were just playing instruments...I had some lyrics and tiny melodies in mind.We started to work on them and time passed.We had lots of people on our band.Finally we bumped into a guy who were just thinking like us Koray! then Kagan came! Now I can say that we are a band after all those years of trying.Thanks for all the guys who enjoy listening to our music.Hope to see you in one of our concerts too !
Why this name?
`Birileri` means Somebody in Turkish.Actually we had a song named Birileri.Before one of our concerts on the backstage, the organisators asked our band's name we haven't got any idea so we told them the first songs name on our playlist,from that point on our band's name is Birileri ...
Do you play live?
Yes ! we play live and we really enjoy that.Actually in Turkey you don't have lots of credits when you play your songs.But I guess that we were just lucky because we had less problems than most of the bands here.I guess that because of our music genre (I mean punk-rock) even if the auidence don't know the song they can get it somewhere easily and enjoy only the music ...
One of our concerts was in a Town called 'Kesan' they asked if we would come and perform a concert for the sake of the children who are in need of financial help.We gladly accepted the offer and went there.In the concert I asked one of the children if he would like to come to the stage to tell his problems,he came to the stage but because that he was so shy he couldnt tell a word ...The looks on his face was something that I can't forget...

If you make it big..?
I don't think that lot of things would change on our lives...Actually talking formyself only I don't really wish to be big ...I only want the people respect me with my music ...That's all
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Although mp3 is a very cool technology we respect the people's works.I mean in Turkey even if you can't have a living just with music in Europe or America I think that you can.If someone don't respect the work of the others How can he want to be respected...
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
We are planning to ! ;)
Your influences?
The bands we are influenced varies to all of us.For me I like Bad Religion,Nofx,Cure,Suede, Pink Floyd the most.But usually I listen to all kinds of music...
Favorite spot?
Five years ago I would answer that question as the place I live in...Istanbul but nowadays everything goes worse everyday! If someday I ready my suitcase to go away I d choose to goto New Zeland ...
