Orginally these dudes were called BKS(Best Kept Secret), but to many people think they are the best kept secret so they changed the name to Varsity, because the felt they have grown musically and mentally with there music, so they are officially Varsity. Including myself apart of varsity im the only female right now. I call myself Phats for the time bieng Ms.Phats that is or M.holla!

It allows upcoming and underground artist to show people what they about and let them get feedback on what the bringing to the table. Possibly a major label or somebody out there listening will feel something and that artist woud possible get signed.

Of course who wouldnt. Anything to get into the door and once you in and you know you hot you could leave that label if they are not putting you out right and always possibly sign over to someone else.
