O Cardume can be described as a Pop/Rock band, but some differentials turn it surprising and singular. The brazilian percussion and the "sweet but tough" voice of Jacqueline Lua, brings to the sound another interesting colours.

Why this name?

O Cardume in portuguese means "Shoal", and we choose this name because it represents the band's spirit of union.

Do you play live?

We love to play live. At theaters, arenas, pubs, malls...everywhere.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

Now, with the internet, the world is an island. Public and artists are closer and the acess to the arts in general are more democratic.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Maybe. But is no longer necessary.
