What do 4 Guys from New Jersey do when they put their minds together? They create one of the coolest bands around. Slanted Center sounds like Silverstein, or a little bit of Hawthorne Heights without the Emo. Slanted Center mixes Melodic Singing with powerful Vocals, to create an awesome 1-2 punch for singing. To back up the 1-2 punch, there are slick rythmic guitarist, Smooth Baselines with more kicking chorus's (literally he kicks like a karate master), and smashing drums to compliment all three components of the band. THe band consists of members: Scott (vocals) Lou (bass) Jeff (drums) and matt (Guitar)

Do you play live?
We play in our backyard, Champs Bar and Grill, and Finnigans.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Easy... Because of the internet, it's a lot easier to get music and stuff, so instead of buying a CD, you can just download it, but at the same time, it's easier for underground bands to get out, and now, a lot more bands are known, but then you get an overpopulation of bands, and some of them, better than others
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yea... actually, we are trying to start our own record label, called Burnoutrecords and you can find the website at Www.burnoutrecords.4t.com.
Band History:
Well... it used to Be Rob as drummer, and Jeff as guitarist, but Rob quit, adn i became a drummer, that's about it, lol.
