I began producing two years ago and my passion for music has since thrived. I have come a long way from the beginning where I have produced approximately 150 number of beats and songs. My current projects include Srednas and Hearing Deaf One. If you are interested in purchasing any beats I can be reached via e-mail at mrproduction@srednas.com or by leaving a message on my board. I will do my best to respond promptly.
The sales process is evolving but as it stands now it is a cross between leasing rights and exclusive rights. There are currently no limitations on how many copies that are sold in which my beats are featured. While we forfeit the right to resell the entire beat, we retain the right to sell instrumental samples after two years dating from the original date of purchase. The purchase guarantees the right to make one, and only one, remix using the beat. Further, it can only be used on one album.
Why this name?
It is simply derived from my name.
Do you play live?
No. I would like to be able to DJ in the future.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It benefits new comers, such as myself, and allows them to distribute their unique recordings in a fast and efficient way. I can finish a beat and have all of my friends and listeners download it in one day.
At the same time I feel it hurts already established artists such as 50 and Kanye because people illegally download their work. So it is a double edge sword.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
It would depend on the terms of the contract, but I would like to explore the option.
Band History:
I have been producing with this group of artists for around eight months. I currently work with two rappers, Srednas (soundclick.com/srednas ) & Hearing Deaf One (soundclick.com/americanhunger) and am planning on working with many more in the near future.
Your influences?
I look to both the classic artists, the founders of modern day hip hop all the eay to todays best talent. These are some of my influences and inspirations: 2pac, Kanye West, Eminem, Dr. Dre, Young Jeezy, Nas, Jay Z, Busta Rhymes, 50 Cent, Game, Scott Storch, Obie Trice, Srednas, Hearing Deaf One, Fort Minor, Tone Deff, Immortal Technique, Zion I, and more.
Favorite spot?
Las Vegas, Miami, New York City, WCL
