Why this name?
We chose our band name because it is a unique word that does not exist in the English language and it still sounds good. Kevin was writing a list of words that didn't make any sense and Pete saw Remelic in the mix. The rest is a mystery...
Do you play live?
Yes we play live in Athabasca County for the most part. Live shows are the best.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It has made it easier for the average musician to produce music that can be easily moved around and used. Helps with bands who want to do things from a distance. Not great for making money since the market will get flooded with poor quality musicians and music. But everyone deserves a chance and maybe even a second chance with a little charisma.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
We wouldn't want to play country if they made us! If we could keep doing what we are doing, I know we would.
Band History:
Our band was formed in 1996 and we sucked then, very much so. It has taken us this many years to become what we are. We lost our drummer in a car accident (the drum genius he was). After that the Bass player we had, decided he was done with Remelic. Remelic went into a dark hole for a while. That gave us a lot of time to hone our skills and write songs like crazy. Now we are back with some new material for our fans. We hope you enjoy the new sound.
