Now... The Breakdowns
The Breakdowns formed in February 2005. Previously members of Nottingham band 'The Rockitts', Joe (Lead Vocals, Guitar) Adam (Bass, Vocals) & Matt (Lead Guitar, Vocals) have put together a group with a more 'stripped down' sound. The 4 piece line up was completed in June with the addition of Owen on Drums.
As fans of 50s,60s & 70s rock n roll/pop The Breakdowns fuse traditional songwriting with loud guitars.
Their early demo recordings coupled with a one off acoustic show have drawn comparisons with 'Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers', 'The Ramones', 'The Knack', 'Elvis Costello' & 'Johnny Thunders'...
With an emphasis on vocal harmonies, killer hooks & memorable songs the breakdowns are the only band around who do what they do & as such hope to appeal to a wide range of music fans.
