Why this name?
To choose my name was simple. I just took my first name which was given to me by my mother and the day I was born (Monday). Which in Ghanian means Kojo.
Do you play live?
Yeah I sing when ever I can get a gig.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet and Mp3's are basically changing the music industry by giving people like me a chance to branch out and get our music heard, downloaded, etc.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes. I would still sign a record contract with a major label. That's what I am trying to get right now. I working with an independent, but I want to got to the big time that I feel only a Major can take me.
Your influences?
Some of my influences are Akon and Missy Elliot. That is because Akon represents africa in our new hiphop industry. Plus his vocals are reminisant of africa. His vocals arent very strong, but he lets people know that it is still a voice. Missy because her style is crazy. She's not afraid to try new stuff and take chances.
Favorite spot?
My favorite city is New York that is because it's beautiful, well cultured, and fashionable.
