Wake Up, O Sleeper
Jackie and Kevin Swedlow share a passion for honesty and relevance in music and in life. Their spiritual minded musical style is building a small following in and around Oklahoma City. Sharing real life experiences with listeners as they identify with the struggles of life and the joys of the Kingdom of God, Jackie and Kevin maintain a unique chemistry that invites the listener to be entertained as well as touched.
Why this name?
The story of a name.
The Acoustic part of our name refers to the simple instrumentation to which we are inclined. The Jigsaw in our name refers to a puzzle. Each piece of a jigsaw puzzle is not square, it has gaps in some spots and a picture from the puzzle in other spots. We all have gaps and extras that help us fit exactly where we are meant to be. If you ever thought that you don’t fit in, believe us, you do.

Do you play live?
We have played for small church groups and at coffee shops in Oklahoma City. We would love to lead worship for your small group or as part of a larger event. Our style of worship is appealing to many age groups.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
For Christian artists like us, the Internet allows us to expand our ministry much farther than we could ever do just playing live. People from across the country can hear our music and share in our vision.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, with the proper research into the company of course.
Your influences?
Kevin has varied tastes in jazz, jam rock, and bluegrass resulting in a playing that is comfortable, clever, and curious. Jackie's main musical influences are Jennifer Knapp, Jami Smith, and Sheryl Crow.
Anything else...?
One thing to know about our CD, "Pieces", is that it is not just acoustic guitar and single vocal. You will be pleasantly surprised to find it is much more complex!
