Hey all. This music or noise...whatever you want to call it...is just something I decided to do. It's all still pretty much a work in progress. All the music has been done soley by me. I just hope someone will like it. hehe.
Why this name?
The name Helioflux just popped in my head one day. I was like...that's different. So I stuck with it.
Do you play live?
As for playing live....not yet. Need more equipment for that.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
There's a lot more access to music on the net. Most people have the net, so they are able to find what they want the most.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Sure. If I felt that it was the right thing to do.
Band History:
Well, there's really no history as of yet. I sat down in front of a computer with a really awesome program...and started doing this stuff. It's really progressed from the first tracks I've done up till now. I think it's fun.
Your influences?
Tool, Machine Head, Das Ich, Assemblage 23, Nine Inch Nails, Aphex Twin...so many more.
Favorite spot?
Niagra Falls is nice. So is the Clark Summit, Scranton PA area.
Equipment used:
My computer and Fruity Loops programs. I recently aquired a couple new programs to mess with. Hopefully I'll be able to figure them out.
Anything else...?
To anyone who likes electronic/industrial type stuff. You might like this. It is strange stuff. But overall decent.
