Straight outta Spo-Kompton, Beeotch!
Why this name?
I like to fish... cuz its relaxation and excitement all in one activity
Do you play live?
I have played live before... But that was back in high school (graduated in 98) and I just played a bunch of grunge and christian gospel songs to only about 300 people, but never any of my electronic work.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Far too long has the music industry been screwing us consumers with overpriced cassettes and compact discs... now it's our turn to fight back. Viva piracy! So many artists (myself included) are getting exposure with their mp3s on the internet, whereas before the internet/mp3 age, this was not an option. Feel free to download any of my music, play it publicly, remix it, whatever... just as long as you remember it was written by me, phisherman!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Record contract? maybe...
Band History:
Music has always been one of the biggest elements of my life if not the biggest; I've had piano lessons for 2 years, played clarinet in school band for 2 years, played guitar all through high school in bands and for church, and I got into electronic music around 1998. I just started messing around writing techno in 2002. One of these days when I can truly dedicate some time to my passion for music, great things might just happen...
Your influences?
lots! But lately I've really been getting into the techno scene... whether it's breakbeats, house, trance, chillout/mellow, dnb, whatever! Stupid genres...
Favorite spot?
under clear water, whether swimming, snorkeling or scuba diving.
