This is a project that was originally created in 2005 with 3 people with the intent for a full band. It quickly dissolved upon the loss of the drummer. After a couple years it became a hobby of guitarist Devin Johnson, one of the original founders. There is the possibility that Overthrone will become a full band in the future, but as of now there is only a guitar and a drum machine.
Why this name?
It was originally the drummer's(Jake Martin's) Idea.
Do you play live?
No, I need more bandmates.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It makes it easier for people to get their hands on lots of good music, but at the same time causes a decline in record sales. It's a win lose situation.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Sure, If they actually wanted to offer a record deal to one person making music alone.
