I guess you could call me a singer/songwriter. I write songs, I sing them, and I play piano, guitar, and a few other instruments when I can. I'm not really a musician, just a songwriter.
Do you play live?
I play shows around Jamestown, NY now, but I'm looking for more opportunities. I love it and every moment is a special moment.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think mp3's are a great way to share your music with the people.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes.
Band History:
After wasting four years on a dream band that never got off the ground, I decided to start a solo endeavor. It's been going pretty well. This is one of those dreams I'll never give up. So there isn't much history. This is only the beginning.
Your influences?
Steven Page, Ben Folds (Five), The Beatles, Barenaked Ladies, Ookla the Mok, Billy Joel, Elton John, Todd Rundgren, Gentle Giant, Genesis (with Peter Gabriel), and Spyro Gyra are most of my musical influences.
Favorite spot?
My favorite "spot" is the chair in front of my piano.
Equipment used:
A computer, Adobe Audtition 3, some mixers and amps, cheap microphones, blah blah, nothing special.
