Greetings, stranger. Welcome to Chris's music page.

This music you are about to hear is a byproduct of a 21 year old college student's spare time, life experiences, melodical creativity, and passion for well,,,, music. All songs are made by him, his guitar, him, his mic, himself, and his trusty lil laptop.

Thanks for stopping by.
Why this name?
I don't know. My parents kinda named me. I couldn't really think of a cool name so I figured.. hey why not...
Do you play live?
I play live whenever I'm drunk. (do karaokes count??) Otherwise, I haven't really played for an audience since I was in a band back in highschool.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Hmmm. It made me drop music as a career option.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Is this a trick question?
Band History:
Started playing guitar when I was 14, mainly to get girls. Then I got curious and started picking up the piano and drums when I was about 15. (this time it was just for fun) I played with my friends in a band called "No Name" back in highschool, and the experience broadened my musical awareness. Soon after I moved to America, I took a shot at composing short songs out of spare time and the need for expression.
Your influences?
Tons. basically anything honest, heartspoken, and emotional.. music that's made out of love for music and not glamour and celebrity.. music that's unique and different, and at the same time pleasing to hear.. then again, i listen to some artists which most people might consider noise.. hmm....., lemme just name some artists then:
damien rice, jimmy eat world, josh radin, oasis, john mayer, hale, urbandub, rivermaya, powderfinger.. just to name a few.
Favorite spot?
I'm guessing this means where I draw my inspiration..? If that's the case.. anywhere quiet and soothing.
Equipment used:
I use a Peal acoustic/electric guitar (Korean brand for those who haven't heard of it), a G.E. portable mic, and my Toshiba laptop.

The software I use for editing are Fruity Loops ver. 4.0 (for songs with drum beats), and Audacity (for sound splitting and other effects).

Oh and every now and then I also borrow my roomate's Squire Electric and his Ibanez Amp..
