Well, Hi, This is me, Stephen, the sole surviving member Of Poor'N'Hungry.
I'm a Guitarist/Singer who writes his own stuff, and I use this act to preview and test out tracks for my main band Jeremiah (who are elsewhere on soundclick)

Why this name?
It just came out when I was in practice with the other members of the band, skint and looking for something to eat at about the time we were trying to come up with a name, I just blurted out, "It's not fair, I'm poor and hungry!", and the name just stuck
Do you play live?
well, so far live hasn't really happened, aside from a couple of slots here and there, although I'm hoping to do more in the near future
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
To be honest I think that while the comercial aspect of the industry may suffer, the creative side, and the accessibility it offers up and coming artists cannot be over-emphasised
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yeah, anyone who doesn't want to make serious money doing something they love on a large scale is either a liar or a fool
Band History:
The band was formed on a New Deal course here in Dundee, basicly those of us who were left over whan the now defunct "Poly-cup" was formed, the original lineup was me on Guitar and vox, Matt on Bass and Paul on Drums and backing vox, but sadly I've lost touch with Paul and Matt's gone on to bigger and better things so I kept the name as a solo performer and now use the act as a sounding board for new songs and to get the dillusions of frontmanship out of my head, so I can concentrate on being the Drummer and backing vocals for Jeremiah
Your influences?
influences seem to cover almost anything from Pantera and My dying bride, right through to Savage garden and the corrs, although my writing style favors the softer end of that scale
Equipment used:
well, I'm breaking in an Epiphone SG Goth at the minute, but guitar wise I've also got a Rockwood Performer, a Vintage 12 string acoustic, an Encore Dreadnaught acoustic and a honer classic acoustic and while I've been using a variety of amps, although my own are a Kustom kl40 and a Marshall Valvestate (although I can't remember the model) even if I don't get to use that one very often
